Chicken And Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. sherry
    2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 1/4 lb. boneless, skinless chicken, cut into 1-inch slices
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    4 medium red or green peppers, sliced 1/4-inch thick
    1/2 c. water
Preparation
    In medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sherry, ginger and chicken. Marinate several hours.
