Mushroom Rice Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw rice
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. water or bouillon cubes
    dash of black pepper
Preparation
    Combine rice, water and salt; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat very low.
    Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0. Chop mushrooms and saute in butter for 3 minutes.
    Add water or bouillon.
    Combine rice and mushroom mixture.
    Season with salt and pepper to taste.
    Spoon mixture in a greased 7-inch ring mold. Set in a pan of 1-inch water; bake 30 minutes.
    When done, invert on platter and fill with 2 to 3 cups cream fish or meat.
