Ingredients

2 c. dry bread crumbs
2 c. applesauce
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Arrange alternate layers of dry bread crumbs, applesauce and brown sugar in a casserole dish.
Sprinkle cinnamon on top of each layer.
Dot with butter; place on steamer plate and cook for 1 hour.
If desired, the pudding may be set in the oven for a few minutes to crisp the top.
