Marinated Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    1 large green pepper
    3/4 c. salad oil
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 large onion
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Shred cabbage into large bowl.
    Shred or thinly slice onion and pepper on top of cabbage.
    Sprinkle sugar to cover entire top. Do not stir!
    Then bring to a boil the salad oil, vinegar and dry seasonings.
    Pour over other ingredients while hot.
    Do not stir! Refrigerate at least 4 hours; overnight is better.
    Keeps for several days.
