Baked Zucchini Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 onion, chopped
    dash of garlic (optional)
    3 large zucchini, chunked
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    1/4 c. fresh bread crumbs
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place above ingredients in a mixing bowl.
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0. Great for 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Melt 2 tablespoons butter in skillet.
    Saute onion until golden.
    Steam squash until tender, but still crisp.
    Add squash, cheese and eggs.
    Mix well.
    Turn into casserole.
    Sprinkle with crumbs; dot with remaining butter. Bake 45 minutes or until set and lightly browned.
