Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. water
5 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Cream the butter and sugar. Add flour. Work in vanilla, water and nuts.
Shape into fingers.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes (watch to make sure they do not brown too much; check bottom of cookies). When cooled, put powdered sugar on top.
