Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. vinegar
1/3 c. water
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. onion powder
4 c. cooked sliced beets
3 Tbsp. butter
dash salt & pepper
Preparation

In a saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Add vinegar and water; bring to a boil. All all remaining ingredients. Reduce heat. Simmer until heated through.
