Zucchini Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. vinegar
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    3 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. turmeric or dill seed
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    4 qt. sliced zucchini
    1 qt. sliced onions
Preparation
    Bring vinegar, sugar, salt and spices to a boil.
    Pour over freshly sliced vegetables and let stand 1 hour.
    Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
    Pack hot, into hot sterilized jars.
    Seal at once with lids and bands that have just been scalded in boiling water.
    Store in cool, dry place.
    Makes 6 to 7 pints.
