Mock Turtle Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. salt
2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. A.1. sauce or Worcestershire
1 c. brown sugar
1 (14 oz.) bottle catsup
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 lemon, sliced thin
2 1/2 qt. water
1 tsp. ground allspice

Preparation

Mix all ingredients and simmer for 1 to 2 hours.
