Green Tomato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/4 c. sugar
dash of salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. oleo
green tomatoes (enough to fill 9-inch pie pan)
2 heaping Tbsp. flour
1 heaping tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. allspice
1 recipe pastry for double-crust 9-inch pie
Preparation

Wash tomatoes and slice thin.
Large tomatoes may be quartered before slicing; small ones may be sliced whole.
Mix sugar, salt, spices and flour; add to the tomatoes.
