Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg (slightly beaten)
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/2 cup butter
    1/2 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1 1/4 cup self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Thoroughly cream butter, peanut butter, sugars and egg together.
    Stir flour into mixture.
    Add vanilla. Chill.
    Roll dough into walnut size balls.
    Place balls about 2 inches apart on a lightly greased baking sheet.
    Flatten with a fork.
    Bake in oven at 375 degrees for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, but not hard.
    Yields 3 dozen.
