Irish Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 lb. margarine or butter
    1 egg
    3/4 c. milk
    3/4 c. raisins
    1/2 c. nuts or caraway seed (optional)
Preparation
    Mix together the flour, sugar and baking powder.
    Stir in the margarine or butter to mixture.
    Separately add together the milk and egg.
    Stir and bring the raisins to a boil for 3 minutes.
    Add to first mixture.
    Also stir in nuts/seeds.
    Bake in a loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
