Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1 c. raw peanuts
    dash of salt
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Stir together in mixing bowl or 4 cup Pyrex measuring cup. Cook 8 minutes on High power.
    Add butter and vanilla; stir and cook 1 1/2 minutes.
    Add soda; stir quickly and pour out onto Teflon coated cookie sheet.
    When cool it will pop right off.
    I like to stretch it after it has been poured out and is cool enough to handle.
