Annie'S Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Italian hot sausages
    1 medium onion
    1 medium head cabbage
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Prick sausages and bring to boil in water to cover.
    Boil 25 minutes.
    Remove and cool.
    Slice 1/2-inch thick.
    In large pot, put sausages.
    Cut cabbage as if for coleslaw (1/4-inch wide, 3-inch lengths).
    Add to pot.
    Add onion.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer until cabbage strips are soft.
    Easy and delicious. Better next day.
