Apple Bread(1 Large Loaf) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 c. coarsely chopped apples (may be unpeeled)
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. buttermilk or soured milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients.
    Stir in apples, nuts and vanilla.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 50 to 60 minutes.
    Cool in pan 5 minutes, then turn on rack to cool.
    May use more apples, if desired.
