Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. strips beef
    1 lb. strips pork
    1/3 c. chopped celery
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    chow mein vegetables
    water chestnuts
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    Brown meat in oil and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
    Add celery, onion and soy sauce and simmer 10 minutes more.
    Add salt, pepper, vegetables and water chestnuts and simmer 5 to 8 minutes.
    Mix flour and sugar with water to make a paste and add to thicken.
