Sour Cream Lemon Pie(Serves 6) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. lemon rind, or whatever you can manage
1/2 c. lemon juice, fresh squeezed
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1 c. sour cream or sour cream substitute
1/4 c. margarine, can omit with loss of richness
1 pie shell, baked pastry or graham
2 c. whipped cream or whipped topping
Preparation

Combine sugar, cornstarch, lemon rind, juice, egg yolks and milk in saucepan over medium to medium-high heat until thick.
Stir in butter and cool to room temperature.
Stir in sour cream and pour into pie shell.
Cover with whipped topping and chill. Refrigerate leftover pie.
