Easter Cheese(Hruda Or Sirets) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. eggs
    1 qt. milk
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. or less sugar, to taste
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Pour milk into saucepan and beat eggs in, one at a time.
    Mix well.
    Add vanilla.
    Add salt and sugar.
    Mix slowly.
    Do not cook over direct flame since mixture scorches easily.
    Use griddle under pan.
    Cook over low heat and stir until mixture looks like firm scrambled eggs.
    Pour mixture into a cheesecloth bag and tie tightly.
    Hang and let drain for about 3 hours or until liquid stops draining.
    Carefully remove cheese from bag to avoid breaking.
    Store in refrigerator.
