Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 red peppers
    6 green peppers
    4 medium onions
    1 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    3/4 c. sugar or white syrup
    hot water
Preparation
    Grind peppers and onions medium fine.
    Place in saucepan with hot water to cover.
    Simmer 15 minutes.
    Drain.
    Add vinegar and sugar with salt and celery seed.
    Cook 15 minutes over slow fire. Cool and serve.
