Beer Batter Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, separated
    2/3 c. beer, at room temperature
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    2 large sweet onions, sliced into rings
Preparation
    Sift flour and salt.
    Beat egg yolks slightly; add beer.
    Mix with flour mixture.
    Blend well.
    Let batter stand at room temperature 20 to 25 minutes.
    Fry in oil at 375\u00b0.
    Brown on both sides, about 2 to 3 minutes.
