Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. butter or margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. peanuts
Preparation
    In microwave-safe bowl, combine sugar and corn syrup. Microwave on High 4 minutes; stir.
    Add nuts and blend well. Microwave on High 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes or until mixture is light brown.
    Stir in vanilla and butter.
    Microwave 1 minute.
    Add baking soda and stir quickly to blend.
    Pour immediately onto buttered, foil lined cookie sheet, spreading quickly with wooden spoon.
    Cool for 30 minutes.
    Break apart.
    Store in airtight container.
