Creamed Parsnips - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. parsnips, peeled and roughly chopped
    salt and pepper to taste
    5 oz. fresh cream
    chopped parsley (to garnish)
Preparation
    Cook the parsnips in boiling salted water for 35 to 40 minutes until very tender. Drain thoroughly, then return to the pan and mash with a potato masher. Stir in the cream and season to taste. Heat gently.
    Serve hot. Garnish with parsley.
