Lentils And Cracked Wheat(Imjadarah) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. lentils
    1/2 c. cracked wheat or rice
    1 onion, chopped
    6 c. water
    Oil
    Laban
Preparation
    Wash lentils, then place in saucepan and cover with water. Boil 10-15 mins. till lentils soften.
    Wash cracked wheat or rice. Add to lentil mixture.
    Cook till water is almost absorbed.
    In another saucepan, saute onion in oil.
    Pour into completed lentil dish.
    Serve with laban (yogurt).
    Great Lenten dish.
