Cornmeal Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    3/4 c. milk
    1/3 c. oil
    1 (8 oz.) can creamed corn
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3 eggs
    1 1/2 c. cheese (Cheddar and Jack)
    1 (4 oz.) can diced Ortega green chilies
Preparation
    Mix all the ingredients, except the cheese and chilies.
    Pour half of this mixture in 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4-inch Pyrex dish. Put 1 1/2 cups of cheese and the can of green chilies over mixture.
    Cover with remaining mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
    Cut into squares.
