Chocolate Rabbit Dream - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. Duncan Hines layer chocolate cake
2 (3 oz.) chocolate instant pudding, mixed as directed
2 (9 oz.) cartons Cool Whip
1 small bottle maraschino cherries, drained well
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Kahlua (can be used instead of cherry juice)
Preparation

Bake cake as directed in 2 layers.
Mix cherries and nuts. Use trifle bowl and break cake in pieces (1 layer); pour cherry juice over cake.
Spoon 1/2 pudding over cake, then 1 carton Cool Whip and 1/2 cherry-nut mixture.
Repeat layer.
Chill.
