Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. corn oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. plain flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped pecans
1 can coconut
1 c. raisins
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butterscotch morsels
2 c. peeled, chopped, Rome apples
Preparation

Mix oil and sugar completely.
Combine flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and sift.
Add dry ingredients to sugar mixture alternately with eggs.
Beat after each addition.
Add buttermilk and vanilla.
Stir.
Fold in nuts, coconut, raisins and apples. Put in greased and floured pan.
Sprinkle butterscotch morsels on top of cake.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
(I always bake it about 15 minutes longer.
Test for doneness.
You may need to let it cook longer.)
Remove from pan and cool.
