Chicken Noodle Amandine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. slivered almonds
    2 c. sliced mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. grated orange peel
    3 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    4 c. cooked chicken, cut into cubes
    3 c. sour cream
    1 pasta recipe flat noodles, cooked and drained
Preparation
    Melt 1/4 cup butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
    Add almonds and stir until lightly browned.
    Remove from heat.
    Set aside.
    Melt remaining butter in a clean saucepan over medium heat.
    Add mushrooms and saute for 3 minutes.
    Add orange peel, salt, pepper, chicken broth and chicken.
    Continue cooking an extra minute.
    Stir sour cream into chicken mixture; heat through but do not boil.
    Serve immediately over hot noodles.
    Sprinkle with almonds.
    Yields 6 to 8 servings.
