Tomato Sauce For Veal - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 medium garlic clove, crushed
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 (17 oz.) can Italian plum tomatoes (undrained)
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 tsp. basil
Preparation
    In hot oil in skillet, saute onion and garlic until golden brown.
    Add salt and remaining ingredients, breaking up tomatoes with fork.
    Bring to boil; simmer, covered, for 10 minutes.
