Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes, quartered
    1 qt. onions, chopped into chunks
    1/2 c. green jalapeno peppers, sliced
    4 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. canning salt
    1 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Step 1:
    Soak cucumbers 1 week (3 days will do) in a brine made of 1 pint pickling salt to 1 gallon water.
