My Kids Like It Spinach Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 clove garlic, minced
    4 c. water
    5 chicken bouillon cubes
    1/2 c. thin noodles or macaroni
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and drained
    3 c. skim milk
    1/2 c. shredded reduced-fat Cheddar
    1/2 c. shredded reduced-fat Swiss cheese
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cook onion and garlic in microwave or steamer until soft.
    Add water and bouillon.
    Bring to a boil; stir and add noodles and salt.
    Cook uncovered 10 minutes.
    Then add the spinach.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Stir in milk, cheeses and pepper.
    Stir until melted but do not boil.
