Chicken Cacciatore(Servings: 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 boneless chicken breasts (about 2 lb.)
    1 large Bermuda onion
    1 green bell pepper
    1 red pepper
    4 cloves fresh garlic, chopped fine
    1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
    2 large cans crushed tomatoes
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    1 Tbsp. sweet basil
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    salt
    pepper
    1 lb. linguini
Preparation
    Put the olive oil in a 5-quart Dutch oven.
    Saute the garlic until soft; add the onion and peppers, all sliced very thin.
    Add the sweet basil and oregano (more can be added if a more robust flavor is desired).
    Add the white wine and bring to a simmer. Add the chicken and simmer until the meat is white, stirring occasionally.
    Add the crushed tomatoes and simmer for 1 hour on very low heat.
