Franks And Veggie Hot Pot - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. frankfurters (beef or turkey)
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth plus water to equal 3 c. liquid
1 c. elbow macaroni
1 tsp. basil leaves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed veggies
1 small onion, diced
1/3 c. each: sour cream and mayonnaise
Preparation

Cut franks into 1-inch pieces.
Heat to boiling chicken broth and water.
Add macaroni, basil, salt and pepper.
Return to boiling.
Cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
Stir in franks, vegetables and onion.
Simmer 5 minutes longer until macaroni is tender, vegetables are cooked and most of water is absorbed.
Fold in sour cream and mayonnaise.
Garnish with chopped parsley, chives or green peppers sprinkled on top if desired.
Makes four servings.
