Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. flour
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 ripe medium mashed bananas
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    Grease and flour bread pan.
    In large bowl mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda with fork.
    \"Cut\" in shortening (like when making pie).
    \"With fork\" stir in bananas and eggs just until blended; spread in pan.
    (Also stir in nuts, if desired.) Bake at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
    Cool about 10 minutes and remove from pan.
