Granny'S Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cabbage, grated
    1 tsp. salt
    3 ribs chopped celery
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped carrots
    1 c. white vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Mix together the cabbage, salt, chopped celery, chopped pepper and chopped carrots.
    Allow to stand for 1 hour.
    Squeeze out all excess liquid.
    Combine vinegar, water, sugar, celery and mustard seed; boil for 1 minute and cool.
    Pour liquid mixture over cabbage and mix well.
    Put in freezer containers and freeze or refrigerate until served.
