Colcannon Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. potatoes
    boiling water
    3 tsp. salt
    4 c. coarsely shredded green cabbage
    3/4 c. sliced scallions
    1/3 c. milk
    1/2 c. margarine
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Pare potatoes; cut each into quarters.
    In 1/2 inch boiling water with 1 teaspoon salt, in medium saucepan, cook potatoes, covered, for 15 to 20 minutes, or until fork-tender and completely cooked.
    Drain.
    Return pan to low heat, shaking to dry potatoes.
