Rodney'S Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    5 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. + 1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. milk (or less)
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Cut in shortening.
    Add enough milk to hold it together.
    Knead gently, but not too long.
    Roll or pat out about 1/2-inch thick.
    Lightly flour top of dough; fold half of dough over other half; press together a little.
    Cut.
    Place on ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.
    Makes about 1 dozen.
