Caramel Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except vanilla.
    Cook in large saucepan; stir until margarine melts.
    Cook to soft ball stage. Cool.
    Add vanilla and beat until creamy.
