Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
5 large granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. dried cranberries
10-12 slices of bread, cubed
8 eggs
4 cups of milk
2 Tbsp. vanilla
sugar
cinnamon
Preparation

In skillet melt butter with sugar. Add apples and cook five minutes. Place apple mixture in a 9x13 pan. Cut cream cheese into cubes and place over apples. Sprinkle with dried cranberries. Top with bread cubes. Beat eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour over bread. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Place in refrigerator over night. Bake in morning at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with warm maple syrup.
