Brown Sugar Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 sticks butter
    1 lb. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. white sugar
    5 eggs, separated
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugars, egg yolks (well beaten), flour, milk and then vanilla.
    Add nuts and fold in beaten egg whites. Put in well-greased tube pan.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
