Cinnamon - Sugar Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. plain flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 lb. margarine
Preparation
    Mix Crisco
    and
    1/2 cup sugar together and cream thoroughly. Add egg and beat well.
    Sift plain flour, measure and sift again with
    baking
    powder,
    salt
    and nutmeg.
    Stir dry ingredients into
    creamed
    mixture
    alternately
    with milk and blend thoroughly.
    Bake
    at
    350\u00b0 in greased muffin tins.
    Mix together 1 cup sugar and cinnamon.
    Melt margarine and dip the baked muffins in before rolling in sugar and cinnamon mixture. Serve warm or cold.
    Makes 12.
