Easy Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. thinly sliced pickling cucumber (25 small)
2 small onions, sliced
1.75 c. sugar
1 c. white or cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation

Layer pickling cucumbers and onions in deep container.
Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly until sugar is dissolved.
Pour on cucumbers and onions.
Cover and refrigerate.
Pickles are ready to eat after 24 hours.
Pickles can be stored in refrigerator up to 1 month.
Makes about 1 1/2 quarts.
