Ingredients

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 sticks margarine
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Cream butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs; beat well.
Gradually mix in dry ingredients.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 9 to 11 minutes, or until golden brown.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
