Lemon Cheese Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3 1/2 c. cake flour, sifted
    1 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 well beaten egg whites
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Sift flour and baking powder.
    Add flour mixture and milk alternately. Add vanilla. Fold in well beaten egg whites, but do not beat.
    Makes 5 thin layers or 4 medium size layers.
