Pat'S Brown Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raisins, boiled in 2 c. water until soft
    1 Tbsp. vegetable shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    2 2/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and egg well.
    Add combined dry ingredients alternately with raisins/water.
    Stir well.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
    (Use greased bread pan.)
