Coffee Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
3 to 4 c. flour
1 c. cold coffee
2/3 c. lard, Crisco or butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda

Preparation

Dissolve soda in a little water.
Mix all ingredients together and drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 about 10 to 15 minutes.
