Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
2 c. warm water
1 c. molasses
1 Tbsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix together flour, sugar and shortening until crumbly; reserve 1 cup.
Add to the rest of the crumb mixture: water, molasses, soda and salt.
Put in a large greased pan.
Put the reserved one cup of crumbs on top of mixture and bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
