Super Hamburger Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean hamburger
    1/2 c. cubed raw potatoes
    2/3 c. diced celery
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of cayenne pepper
    1/2 c. frozen peas
    1 c. diced onions
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 c. shredded cabbage
    1/4 c. raw rice
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    2 beef bouillon cubes
    1 1/2 qt. water
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and onion in soup pot.
    Drain off all fat. Add potatoes, carrots, celery, cabbage and tomato sauce.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add rice and other ingredients except peas.
    Cover and simmer 50 minutes.
    Add peas and cook another 5 to 10 minutes. Put in bowls and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
    Makes 6 servings, 200 calories each.
