Baked Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. cabbage, cut up
    3 Tbsp. melted oleo
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    3/4 lb. white American cheese
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cover cabbage with 1 quart boiling water, plus 1 teaspoon salt; boil 5 minutes.
    Drain well.
    Melt oleo and add flour; mix well.
    Add 1 cup milk, white sauce should not be too thick.
    Place cabbage in baking dish; add cheese and stir until melted.
    Pour white sauce over cabbage, stir lightly. Cover with buttered bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 45 minutes or until brown.
