Basic Cookie Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Measure flour, baking powder and salt into sifter.
    Cream butter with sugar in large bowl until fluffy; beat in eggs.
    Sift in dry ingredients, a quarter at a time, blending well to make a stiff dough.
    Chill 1 hour, or until firm.
    Divide dough into quarters; roll one at a time, to 1/8-inch thickness.
    Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
