7-Up Salad - cooking recipe

2 boxes lemon gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
2 c. 7-Up
2 c. small marshmallows
4 large bananas, diced
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 c. pineapple juice
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. heavy cream, whipped
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in water; cool. Add pineapple, 7-Up, marshmallows and bananas. Chill until firm. Mix flour and sugar; add egg, then pineapple juice. Cook, stirring constantly. Take from heat and add butter. When cool, add cream, whipped. (Dream Whip may be used.) Spread on gelatin layer.
